The brilliant idea behind Wisepilot is the integration of GPS navigation, the services provided on the web and your mobile phone. You don’t need to buy another gadget because all functions are in your phone application. All data are web server based and is automatically updated and synchronized with your phone, so you can rely on the latest versions of maps and other crucial information. The information used by Wisepilot is not stored locally in your phone, so your phone memory could be used for other things, such as your music and photos.

Wisepilot response times are excellent and the technically innovative approach offers an uncompromised navigation experience with data downloads kept to a minimum.

The Wisepilot application is either pre-installed in your phone, or you can easily download and install it yourself on compatible phones.

As Wisepilot develops there will be additional features and functions for you to add.

 

GUIDANCE

One of the main features of Wisepilot is the guidance. Whether walking or driving you get live instructions for how to proceed to your destination. You can see text instructions or instructions in 2D or 3D route views in your phone display. Or you can have tone or voice instructions telling you what to do and where to turn. This improves safety if you’re driving since you can fully concentrate on the road instead of reading a display. Underway, you can search from your actual position. This means you can easily find the nearest gas station, food stop etc.

 

SEARCH

With Wisepilot you can easily search and get the exact positions for your destinations. You get positions for persons, addresses, businesses and road intersections etc. Also, you can have additional information (Points of Interest) about the vicinities of a certain position. This could be restaurants, shopping, lodging, medical and several other services, so you can always find relevant services in unknown places. Many search types could also be made from your computer. This way you can comfortably explore different locations, for example if you’re planning a trip. Of course your favorites are stored and synchronized both in your phone and on your personal Wisepilot web pages.
